Welcome to the Bay Area Club

Our purpose is to provide meeting places
for our numerous Alcoholics Anonymous (AA),
Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG) and other 12 step recovery programs.
We are open 7 days a week and all of our meetings are non-smoking.

At the Bay Area Club (BAC) of League City, we are more than just a venue; we are a vibrant community dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward recovery and sobriety. Located in the heart of League City, Texas, our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for people seeking to overcome the challenges of addiction. Through the power of shared experiences, fellowship, and compassion, we help one another rebuild lives and discover hope. At BAC, we understand that recovery is not just a goal—it is a lifelong journey, and we are here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Every individual who walks through our doors is met with kindness, understanding, and a commitment to their well-being. We are not only a club but a sanctuary where transformations happen, one day at a time.

Our Mission

The mission of the Bay Area Club is simple but powerful: to offer a supportive space where individuals can connect, grow, and heal. We believe in the transformative power of community and the resilience of the human spirit. By fostering an atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect, we aim to guide individuals toward long-term recovery and a healthier, more fulfilling life. Our mission extends beyond recovery to help members rediscover their passions, strengthen their relationships, and rebuild their sense of purpose. At BAC, our focus is not solely on overcoming addiction but also on creating a life full of joy, purpose, and achievement. Together, we aim to help you recognize your potential and take meaningful steps toward fulfilling it.

What We Offer

At BAC, we provide a range of resources and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our members. Whether you are taking your first steps toward sobriety or have been on this path for years, we are here to support you. Our offerings are constantly evolving to ensure we address the unique challenges faced by our members, creating a comprehensive support network that grows alongside you. Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey, and we strive to offer diverse resources that cater to the varied experiences of our community members.

Meeting Spaces

Our facilities include comfortable and well-equipped meeting spaces designed for recovery group gatherings, workshops, and community events. These spaces are open to groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and other recovery programs. Our flexible scheduling ensures that meetings are accessible at various times to accommodate everyone’s needs. Whether you prefer large group meetings or intimate discussions, our spaces are designed to foster meaningful connections and promote open dialogue. Each room has been thoughtfully arranged to create an atmosphere of serenity and focus, ensuring that every meeting provides the support and encouragement needed for progress.

Workshops and Educational Programs

Knowledge is a key component of recovery. BAC hosts workshops and educational sessions that cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Understanding addiction and its impact on mental health.
  • Building coping mechanisms for long-term sobriety.
  • Strengthening relationships and improving communication skills.
  • Exploring mindfulness and wellness practices.

These programs are facilitated by experienced professionals and recovery experts who bring valuable insights and practical strategies to every session. By participating in these workshops, members gain the tools they need to navigate the challenges of recovery with confidence and resilience. Our educational programs also include interactive sessions where members can share their experiences and learn from one another, further solidifying the bonds within the community. Additionally, we regularly update our offerings to reflect the latest research and best practices in addiction recovery.

Community Events

Recovery is a journey best undertaken with the support of a community. BAC regularly organizes events designed to bring people together, build connections, and foster a sense of belonging. From potlucks and movie nights to fitness activities and art workshops, there is something for everyone. These events provide a safe and sober environment where members can enjoy themselves and make meaningful connections. Additionally, we host special events to celebrate milestones and achievements within our community, creating opportunities for members to reflect on their progress and inspire others. These celebrations are a testament to the strength and determination of our members, reminding everyone that every step forward is worth acknowledging.

Support for Families and Friends

Addiction doesn’t just affect individuals; it impacts entire families and communities. At BAC, we recognize the importance of providing support to loved ones as they navigate the challenges of addiction and recovery. We offer specialized programs and meetings for families and friends to help them understand addiction, communicate effectively, and play a positive role in the recovery process. These programs emphasize education, empathy, and the importance of setting healthy boundaries. By addressing the needs of families and friends, we aim to strengthen the entire support network that surrounds each individual, creating a ripple effect of healing and understanding.
